MISSION STATEMENT            The Mission of Alaska Monitoring Services, LLC is to provide the tools and support for Individuals and Agencies to succeed in our community. PHILOSOPHY            Alaska Monitoring Services, LLC treats each of its clients with dignity and respect.  From Court ordered clients to  Executive clients, each are treated in a firm, fair and consistent professional manner.  We only succeed when our clients succeed BACKGROUND          Alaska Monitoring Services, LLC is an Alaska owned and operated company headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska.  AKMS is expanding its services throughout Alaska with services currently in Anchorage, Palmer/Mat-Su, Fairbanks, Kenai, Bethel and Ketchikan.  We are planning to extend operations to Juneau, Kotzebue in 2007 and to Dillingham in 2008.         AKMS OFFICERS                    The Chief Executive Officer, Larry Williams; is a masters-level Substance Abuse Counselor and Clinical Therapist. He is also a retired U.S. Air Force Para-Rescue member with 23 years experience in rescue and disaster relief operations.  He brings significant organizational and management skills and worldwide electronic monitoring experience gained while supervising the Alaska Rescue Coordination Center and similar organizations in a variety of locations.  His people and communication skills reflect an extensive personal process that has worked to integrate his knowledge, experience, personal philosophy and business sense.                    The Chief Operations Officer, Steve Christopher; is an Air Force veteran, a former Sheriff's Deputy, and worked for the Municipality of Anchorage Prosecutors' office as a Case Coordinator, Compliance Officer, and Investigator.  He was the first Case Coordinator for the Anchorage Wellness Court.  His expertise in engineering and technologies and experience in law enforcement provides AKMS with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively interface with the legal system and other entities that utilize our services.  He is considered one of the two top experts in Alaska on SCRAM technologies.            The Chief Financial Officer; Dr. Robert Lane;  is a licensed psychologist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Treatment for Substance Abuse.  He has extensive experience in mental health evaluations and court forensics.  He is the Director of Alaska Human Services, a state and federally certified treatment agency.  His background and advice ensures a consistent client centered focus as well as providing regular evaluations for Alaska Monitoring Services employees working in sensitive and secured areas.     AKMS STAFF          Alaska Monitoring Services, LLC  is staffed with persons who have extensive experience or knowledge in their respective fields.  Each staff person is required to attend training yearly to remain current on trends and focuses in their respective fields.
